The Phoenix Suns couldn't catch a break during the series with the Spurs. In what has become all too typical, the NBA and it's officials have impacted another series in an unfair way.
The calls just don't seem to go the Sun's way no matter what. Tim Duncan, while playing excellent, also benefitted from the referee's favoritism. Bruce Bowen got away with kneeing Steve Nash in the groin among other dubious plays.
To make things even worse, the Suns were penalized and the Spurs rewarded for the antics of Robert Hory when he took out Steve Nash. The Sun's lost Amare Stoudemire and Boris Diaw for the critical game 5 in Phoenix while the Spurs only lost Hory.
For the NBA to suspend two guys for taking a couple of steps off of the bench and then turning around to sit down again shows that the NBA is clueless.
This is the kind of stuff that makes you wonder why you bother watching anyway.
